Dive in with Octopus or look elsewhere

Looking a bit more seriously at getting solar and a powerwall 3 installed.

I’ve done a quick online quote with octopus (purely as they’re my energy provider) which included 10 panels and the mentioned powerwall 3.

The quote has come to a few £ under £13k.

I had a quote from a local installer who wanted quite a bit more for what seems to be exactly the same (I’m unsure whether the panels would be a different brand etc).

I’m down in West Sussex so if anyone knows of a decent company that could be recommended I’d appreciate it.

Furthermore (and this is an unknown world to me) is it worth looking at different energy tariffs as and when the system is being installed? Currently on Octopus 12 month fixed. Wouldn’t know if it would benefit charging my wife’s car (plug in hybrid) or whether the battery would take over doing this as and when it’s needed.
