My theory about what ROOTS means in deltarune

So I'm sure some of us have been to the secret areas where the songs digital roots and BIT ROOTS play and in both of these rooms we know kris is probably feeling very disturbed. Around one of the rooms there is what appears to be a representation of the shelter. There is also An area in chapter 4 with a prophecy that simply says "ROOTS", Which is right next to the egg room. In this egg room Kris gets to paint something on a canvas and wash their hands after. Yet there is still a slight smudge of graphite on their hands that won't wash off. This graphite probably represents some kind of trauma that Kris has. Connecting all of these things together might imply that Kris has some kind of trauma that is related to the shelter and we know The roaring Knight is in the shelter And they are the origins or roots of the dark fountains. And this might just be me being crazy but it might also be the origin of the soul.

Thank you for looking at my insanely long theory
