Will this be liveable for a baby?

Not A Parent

My husband and I are currently moving into a new home. It is somewhere we had hoped to be able to start a family in the not too distant future. The property is terraced and, upon meeting our new neighbours on one side, they told us that they ‘hope we like classical music’ because they will each be practising for several hours an evening in different areas of their property. On the one occasion that we have been around for their practising time, it was relatively loud across a number of rooms in our property. It sounded like the music was being played in our property at the normal volume for a classical instrument. This issue is causing me a lot of anxiety in general and has had a big impact on our ability to enjoy any of the moving process so far.

The reason I’m posting here is because I don’t have any experience with babies or children and we (both 28) don’t yet have any peers with babies or children to ask about my primary concern. My concern is that a baby/small child would be too disturbed by the noise of live music for several hours between 6-10pm each day to get into a good routine or settle down for sleep at those times, all else being equal. If we need to move somewhere quieter, I would want to do that before TTC. Thanks in advance for any help.

(We’re based in the UK, if that’s relevant for anyone)
