V5: Why couldn't we all get the romans 2:14-16 treatment

Here's my thought process so far, you can skip to the next paragraph if you don't care. It's basically impossible for everyone to learn about Jesus before they die. For example people like the native Americans who migrated from Asia and were in their America's for generations and those from sentinel Island, even Israelites in the Bible during Egyptian slavery. there are undeniably people that died without ever hearing the name Jesus or even the God of Abraham. According to romans 2:14-16, it seems that those who don't hear the gospel are judged by whether they "do by nature things required by the law" and show that the law is written on their heart.

My question then is why subject people to knowledge of Christ. Wouldn't the mere knowledge of Christ be a sort of infohazard seeing as once you know about him you are subject to a different measurement of judgment? How is it not better to be from sentinel Island where you live life on an island, kill the occasional tourist, and move about your day? Couldn't we have just gotten that package?

Note: obviously y'all can't answer for God, but why wouldn't that be better?
