Scared of going bad.

In all my hours played I think I've only killed 4 people. I mostly play solo. It had become so friendly that when Im even thinking about shooting someone they will say, "hey want a blueprint?" And I immediately changed my mind. Should I take the plunge or continue to live a (mostly) peaceful existence.
