Why does Devons explain the Boomerang Idol in the trailer?

Did production ask him "What did Christian find today? Can you tell us about the advantage?"

I imagine if a castaway gets told about an idol at camp by their ally, production makes sure to cover that in an interview. They probably interviewed Stepheny and Kyle about Genevieve's boomerang idol find, too. And it just didn't air.

Man it must be exhausting to be interviewed about so much shit and put a bunch of charisma/energy into your answers and then get like 1-2% of your confessionals make the air. Like Devons was SO energetic when he said that in the preview and they probably made him repeat it like twice to make sure they got the soundbyte in his journalist voice.

Other explanation for his.boomerang confessional is...someone on NEW Kalo finds the Boomerang Idol next week and sends it to Devons, who remains on the orange tribe. He would know what is is BECAUSE he has intel from Christian telling him + giving him the actual parchement with full instructions about it. So Devons is the only one to both hold the idol + know exactly how it works if my prediction is correct.

To clarify:

* The parchement for the person who FINDS the Boomerang Idol explains the "boomerang part" + the full rules.

*The parchement for the person RECEIVING it says the Billie Eillish bit, the "only use it on yourself, good until final 6" bit, without explaining the Boomerang part. But Devons will know this is the same advantage Christian found.
