Gfci outlet on opposite of bathroom wall

I’m mounting a tv in my bedroom, the other side of the wall is our bathroom, with the sink right there, if I was to move an outlet so that I can have it closer to the tv would I need to make sure that outlet is gfci or would that only be required in the bathroom itself
