Belle: https://www.bbwinc.com/media/stories/behind-the-fragrance-disneys-belle

Tiana: https://www.bbwinc.com/media/stories/behind-the-fragrance-disneys-tiana

Wanted to take a look back at past articles because they tend to contain some more info about the fragrances.

We learn that Belle’s fragrance begins with rose but is wrapped with warm and gourmand notes (buttercup, whipped vanilla) to represent her warm and caring personality. I thought it was neat to hear a reference to the film with Belle saving her father. Perhaps there really was a Disney fan on the team?

And we also learn Tiana’s fragrance relates to the water lily on her dress. There aren’t any fruit notes listed in the fragrance notes but it’s interesting the senior merchant (Morgan Munnelly) calls Tiana a “fruity floral.” Which fruits do you smell for Tiana?

Belle and Tiana returned for Disney Princess 2026. I did find it interesting to look at the other articles too such as for Jasmine (which did not return).

Each article also talks about small elements of the artwork for the original packaging. Teacup for Belle. Music notes and firefly for Tiana.
