Wheres the power of deimos’s ability

lately im trying to play him because i like his ability but i find it very underwhelming. when should i use it? who do i track if i have defenders identity but i dont know anyone’s average position? even if i deathmark someone, the others locations are still unknown they could be anywhere. (i solo queue and dont use mic)
