PC Waking itself up from hibernation..... to hibernate.....
I've had a long term issue with my PC waking itself up seemingly randomly, but I've finally narrowed down the culprit, but I'm unsure how to resolve the issue.
When I stop using my pc for the day, I click the power button, which I have set to hibernate. However, for some ungodly reason, the pc will wake itself up to hibernate, TO HIBERNATE. This setting in is power options, where normally, it would go to sleep after x minutes, and then hibernate after x minutes of inactivity. The PC will ALSO do this even IF it goes to sleep and then hibernation by itself through this setting.
A temporary solution I've implemented is just setting the "hibernate after" to 9999999 minutes, so it will never self-hibernate, but this is annoying because I do want the feature active for when I leave my pc for extended periods of time. Any ideas / solutions?
