Writing a script for an anime, this is th skeleton. Suggestions?

So I want to create an anime that directly corresponds to real world injustice. I’ve noticed that short men get treated like absolute hot garbage nowadays and wanted to put the reader in their shoes. This is what I’ve gotten so far.

In the world of Altara, power was simple.

It wasn’t about talent.

It wasn’t about intelligence.

It wasn’t about courage.

Power came from height.

The taller you were, the stronger your supernatural ability became. Everyone knew it. Everyone accepted it.

The elders even carved it into the Pillars of Measure in the center of every village:

“Stand tall, rule strong.”

A six-foot warrior could split mountains.

A five-foot man might move stone.

But someone under five feet…

…barely mattered at all.

⸻

The Kindest Boy in the Village

Eren Vale was the smallest boy in the village.

At fifteen he stood 4’11.

But if anyone had asked the people of the village what they thought about Eren when he was younger, most would have said the same thing:

“He’s… a sweet kid.”

Eren had one dream growing up.

Not power.

Not fame.

Not revenge.

Just one thing.

To make the world a better place.

When other kids were training their powers, Eren spent his time helping people.

He fixed fences for elderly farmers.

He carried water buckets for widows whose husbands had died.

He gave his lunch to kids who forgot theirs.

Once during winter, he even walked two miles in the snow just to bring soup to a sick old man.

When the man asked him why he bothered, Eren just smiled.

“Because if everyone helped a little… the world would be a better place.”

His mother used to laugh and hug him when he came home.

“My boy wants to save the world.”

And Eren would grin.

“Maybe not the whole world.”

“…but maybe the village.”

⸻

The Cousin Everyone Loved

Eren’s cousin Kael was the opposite of him in almost every way.

By sixteen, Kael stood 6’5.

In Altara, that was monstrous.

His powers were incredible.

He could split trees with a flick of his wrist.

Lift carts by himself.

The village adored him.

“Kael will be a hero one day.”

Despite that, the two boys had grown up like brothers.

They fished together.

Played games by the river.

Talked about the future.

Eren once told him:

“When I grow up, I want to help everyone in the village.”

Kael laughed and threw a rock into the river.

“You’re too nice for this world, dude.”

⸻

The Height That Defined Everything

But as they got older…

Something changed.

High school was where the rules of the world became painfully clear.

Height meant power.

Height meant respect.

Height meant worth.

And Eren had none of it.

At first it was jokes.

“Hey Eren, did you forget to grow today?”

Then pushing.

Then throwing his books across the hallway.

Then locking him in lockers.

Then dumping his bag in the toilet.

And always the same word.

Manlet.

“Why even try training powers when you’re that short?”

“Your sparks could barely light a candle.”

“You’re basically a kid forever.”

Even teachers ignored it.

Because in Altara…

Short people weren’t expected to matter.

⸻

The Cousin Who Pretended

One day during lunch someone asked Kael:

“You still hanging out with that short guy?”

Eren sat a few tables away.

He could hear everything.

Kael hesitated.

Then laughed awkwardly.

“Nah… I don’t really know him like that.”

The group laughed.

Eren quietly stood up and left.

⸻

The Conversation

That night Kael found him sitting by the river.

“You’re mad about earlier?”

Eren stared at the water.

“You said you didn’t know me.”

Kael sighed.

“Man, you’re overthinking it.”

He nudged him.

“Just be confident. Height doesn’t matter if you’re confident.”

Then he smiled.

“You know I love you, dude.”

Eren forced a small smile.

But something inside him broke.

⸻

Still Trying To Help

Even after all the bullying…

Eren never stopped helping people.

He repaired a widow’s roof.

He walked children home.

He even cleaned the village square once after a festival because “someone had to.”

Sometimes people would thank him.

Sometimes they wouldn’t.

But he still believed.

If he tried hard enough, people would eventually be kind.

⸻

The Day Everything Shattered

Eren’s mother was the one person who believed in him more than anyone.

She was a healer.

She traveled often to help families in nearby villages.

One winter night she left to treat a sick child during a storm.

She never came back.

The blizzard buried the road.

They found her body two days later.

Frozen beside the wagon.

⸻

The Cruelest Moment

Eren came to school the next morning with red eyes.

The whole class had already heard.

Someone whispered.

Then someone laughed.

“That’s what she gets for breeding a manlet.”

The room exploded with laughter.

Something snapped inside Eren.

“SHUT UP!”

His power burst out in a desperate explosion.

But it was weak.

Pathetic.

A tall boy grabbed him.

“Oh look. The little hero’s mad.”

They shoved him into a trash can.

The lid slammed shut.

Outside he heard laughter.

Dozens of voices.

The same voices he once helped.

⸻

The Disappearance

That night Eren left the village.

No goodbye.

No note.

Just a broken boy walking into the mountains.

⸻

Fifteen Years

For fifteen years…

He trained.

15 hours every day.

Punching stone.

Running mountains.

Forcing his weak power to grow through pain.

Because if height gave strength…

Then effort would have to steal it.

Slowly.

Impossibly.

His power grew.

⸻

The Return

Fifteen years later…

A man walked into the village.

Still short.

But his power felt like a storm.

He raised his hand.

The village gate exploded apart.

His voice echoed through the streets.

“NOW YOU WILL FEEL MY PAIN.”

⸻

The Monster Arrives

The boy who once fixed fences…

Now tore through the village like a hurricane.

Guards.

Fathers.

Anyone who stood in his way.

The streets filled with screams.

The innocent boy who once wanted to save the village…

had become its nightmare.

⸻

The Final Battle

Then a massive figure stepped forward.

Kael.

Now the tallest and strongest man in the village.

“…Eren?”

Eren smiled bitterly.

“You finally remember me.”

They fought.

For thirty minutes the village shook.

Stone shattered.

Buildings collapsed.

Even Kael looked stunned.

“How are you this strong?”

Eren laughed.

“Because I had nothing else.”

⸻

The End

The final strike landed.

Eren collapsed.

Blood pooling beneath him.

⸻

The Crowd

The villagers surrounded them.

Cheering.

Clapping.

Relieved.

Someone shouted:

“Good! That evil manlet is finally dead!”

More laughter.

Even the same families he once helped were smiling.

⸻

His Final Thoughts

Eren stared at the sky.

A tear of blood slid down his face.

They’re clapping…

Just like they used to.

Clapping when I failed.

Clapping when I got thrown in trash cans.

Clapping when I tried to stand up.

I worked so hard…

Fifteen years…

Every hour… every day…

Just to prove I mattered.

But nothing changed.

To them… I was still just the short kid they laughed at.

His vision blurred.

How does the world do this?

How does it take a boy who only wanted to help people…

Beat him down…

Break him piece by piece…

Until the only thing left is a monster…

And then celebrate when he dies.

His final thought faded quietly.

Maybe the world never wanted saving.

Darkness swallowed him.

⸻

The Last Place

Then suddenly…

Warm arms held him.

“Mom…?”

He collapsed into her embrace.

“I failed… look what I became…”

She held his face gently.

“No.”

“My boy became one of the strongest men in the village… even when the world tried to make him nothing.”

For the first time in fifteen years…

Eren felt peace.

And the smallest warrior in Altara…

finally rested. RIP
