Macbook air m4

I am in need of a laptop asap, I have been looking on a Macbook Air M4 16gb ram and 256 ssd, need it for DJing and music production, but I am on a tight budget, I will save 200-300 bucks on getting 256gb instead of 512gb is it worth just getting a 1 TB SSD later on, what do you guys think?
