Do Women prefer Guys who are tough or soft?

I'm a 23 year old guy and honestly I'm not really sure what women prefer these days. I hear a lot of different things online about women liking "tough" guys who are stoic and dominant, but I've also heard that being emotionally open and softer is more attractive.

Personally, I'm more of an emotional and soft guy. I'm not really the super tough, stoic type. So I'm curious what women actually prefer in real life.

Do you tend to like guys who are more tough and stoic, or guys who are softer and emotionally open?
