I’m desperate, nights seem impossible

My 6 week old finally tolerates his bassinet but I feel like we lack a nighttime routine and he has a hard time staying asleep for long. He’s kicking his legs like crazy trying to get out of his swaddle and I soothe him with a pacifier and reswaddle but that only works for a minute or so … he’s visibly falling back asleep but then as soon as the pacifier falls out he’s back to thrashing around. Has this happened to anyone? Any advice?
