Need workout/ diet advice
I am 22 years old, 5'5" and ~280 lbs (FTM, on testosterone and post radical hysterectomy if that matters). I was previously on Zepbound, but as of the end of last year my insurance no longer covers it, and I cannot pay out of pocket right now. I may go back to it eventually when I can afford it to boost my progress, but I need to make sure I don't make the same mistakes. I neglected to actually improve my lifestyle, so when I no longer had access, I gained the weight hack of course.
I am also asthmatic, so working out for me does have some limitations. I cannot go on jogs/ runs, but I can walk perfectly fine. Super intensive workouts generally are not great right now. I will also be working out from home to start because I cannot afford a gym membership right now.
Diet wise, I don't know what exactly its from (ADHD or suspected autism) but I have a hard time with food. I gravitate towards comfort foods (carbs) and can't figure out what kinds of foods i can stomach that are healthy. I eat beef, chicken and eggs, but have a tricky time with most fish and pork. I am also the same with veggies. I'll eat corn, broccoli, carrots, and a few others, but I don't think this is as much of an issue. It all really just comes down to getting these foods into every meal. I have a hard time coming up with ideas on how to incorporate these items into an actually healthy meal, and end up going for the easy foods as a result. I would love advice on coming up with appealing but balanced meals.
For now, I would like to lose 60 pounds. I was content around 220 lbs, which I was at in 2021/2022. 60 lbs would make a world of a difference to me, and I think a lot of my body image issues would be resolved.
