Diamond Frame City Bike?

I am looking for a diamond frame city bike for casual riding with my wife. She has an Electra Loft step-through and I had looked at the Loft Step-Over, but they are sold out now.
I have also looked into a Linus Roadster 7i, but that's just too expensive. I like the Beaumont City Bike (and its price!) but I don't know much about their production quality and long-term lifespan. Any ideas? TIA
