Club Darc Sucks

Saw Armand Van Helden and Peggy Gou at Club Darc last night. It was a TERRIBLE experience. Corporate DJ event for tech bros. It was a total money grab for a shitty warehouse with zero vibes and the sets felt like we we were listening to a medley of top hits at a Superbowl halftime show. It didn't even sound like they were mixing the songs. It was everything you hate about what DJ headlining events have become- no dance floor community vibes, just posers and a seminar in how greed is now infiltrating the SF club scene. Festival pricing - a White Claw was $20. Overall the complete opposite of everything I love about Portola.

ALSO security searched my BOOTS and confiscated some personal usage items while I was minding my own business so BEWARE security is agressive and hostile and the vibes are toxic. I felt targeted and then violated after the entire experience.
