My relationship had hit sortve a stalemate, I’d picked up a new role at work that was more time consuming and more money. I was constantly fighting burnout and irritable and

just incapable of maintaining our relationship sometimes. You’d noticed I was on my phone more, I opted to go out with friends seemingly more as well.

Naturally the idea crept into my partners mind that I was cheating and he confided in his best friend multiple times as the two speculated on whether or not that was possible and how could they find out.
