Rengar leap mechanic

I remember that in PC League there was a time window with Rengar where you still could jump after leaving a bush. And it seems like this is the case in Wild Rift too since the range indicator stays for a while after leaving a bush.

Now to my question: Should it be possible to flash out of a bush and jump?

I tried it in the practice mode in different ways but couldn't make it work. Am I just stupid or is it not possible?
