Questions about moving forward.

Hi! I’m very serious about becoming a firefighter in the future, and I am currently at job corps to decide what trade is best for the future. I am wondering whether doing wildland firefighting or emt is better for my future applications, as both could provide vital experience for the application process. I also was in the marine reserves and due to a number of factors ended up with an oth discharge(I was homeless 3 hrs from my drill site and ended up missing too many drills), so I am also wondering how that may affect my chances.
