Can't decide between DF83V and DF83 V3 [$700]

Hey everyone,

I'm stuck between two grinder options and could really use some help from people with more experience.

I have an ECM Mechanika and I've been looking at the DF83V or DF83 V3 as my grinder. However I'm torn between two versions:

• DF83V Single Dose – 719€ • DF83 V3 Single Doser – 579€

The price difference is 140€ which isn't massive but not nothing either.

My questions:

1. What are the actual differences between the two?

2. Are the improvements on the more expensive version worth the extra 140€?

3. Why is the V3 so Cheap in comparisn to the DF83V

Also open to other alternatives up to 800€ if there's something significantly better in this price range!
