Counseling History

Good evening,

My son (currently 16, doing his GCSEs) is looking to apply for a pilot role in the near future.
At the moment he's struggling a bit at school, and the school suggested undertaking internal counseling for a few weeks/months. Would the RAF / other services discount his application for having what would be relatively recently counseling, he has had a history of counseling.

Any help / guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
