coast to coast coffee

so, I saw a post on facebook where someone challenged coast to coast coffee for calling themselves a coffee roaster. i’ve only been to this shop once— no espresso and the girl making the pourover used a plastic measuring cup/pitcher and multiple filters to brew the coffee. it wasn’t good. less than mid and a weird setup. but I also got a weird vibe and now am wondering if they are just straight up lying about doing their own sourcing and roasting. they wouldn’t answer where they roast just got defensive and blame any bad reviews or challenges on “their competitors”….anybody aware of where they roast because I have the feeling they just buy white label and aren’t being transparent. there are coffee shops opening on every damn corner in sarasota— which is amazing. something for everyone, both cost-wise and quality-wise. but I need to know—-is coast to coast a coffee roaster or are they being less than honest?
