Reaching Out For Food

Hi there, don’t wanna make this long. Me and my partner live together. I’m unemployed due to recent hospitalization/medical leave (I’m still applying for jobs and currently trying to open my business until I get a stable source of income), and my partner works but only makes $13/hr. With our 1500+ rent we either don’t make rent or barely make it.

We don’t have enough to buy proper food, he just buys loafs of bread and normally I get plain white rice and water from the store since that’s cheaper. If we are lucky we can get a discounted pack of meat for 5 dollars but most of our days we eat bread, water and rice.

I’m just reaching out to see if anyone is willing to help. I know right now things are tough for the majority of people so I appreciate anything. Not looking for anything specific but we are running out of our current bread and rice and unable to get some more for a week (payday). We unfortunately have no car either so we walk to the grocery store. If we could get one proper hot meal for a day it’d be very appreciated. God bless :)
