Terres partagées

Advice please! I am looking for a place to do ceramics in Etterbeek as a hobby and saw recommendations for terres partagées and academies des beaux arts. From what I can tell, the academies are for people who want to do a 4 year qualification rather than a hobby, so not what I’m looking for. Is that right? What are terres partagées? Can anyone do classes there and does it have to be in my own commune?
