For international women’s day, my boyfriend bought me a bouquet but he bought his sister a cell phone. AIO?

Okay this does feel a little petty. First off, I wasn’t expecting anything at all for international women’s day and it’s sweet that he thought to get me a gift at all. I also think it’s sweet that he has a good relationship with his sister and have always encouraged it. However, I asked him if he did something for her too, to mark the occasion, and he told me he bought her a cell phone. I haven’t expressed at all that I find it a little weird, but had to ask reddit. AIO to find it a little weird that he bought his sister an expensive gift and me something kind of cheap in comparison?
