Can I receive a restraining order against a roommate-family member?

Im an adult. I moved back in with my parents and my adult brother lives at home under their roof. one time I accidentally let the dog out and my brother proceeded to yell at me aggressively. he also went into my room and threw a bunch of my belongings onto the floor, and frequently starts conversations with me despite me telling him to stop talking to me. is this enough to recieve a restraining order against him? the cops have come to the house about these issues but they claim it’s a family problem, however he is being aggressive with no reason and doing stuff against my property
