AIO my boyfriend is taking religion more seriously and told me I need to get baptized

So I (21F) have been dating by bf (22M) for 2.5 years. He has recently gotten very into re introducing himself to his Catholic faith. I also grew up Catholic and would often go to church with my grandparents, but was never baptized due to some disagreements between my mom and my grandparents (who are hard core Catholics). My mom wanted me to make the choice of baptism in my adulthood, so she never allowed me to get baptized as a child.

I do believe in God, but due to the way I was raised, reading the bible, doing prayer often, and going to church as an adult is simply not in my lifestyle. My boyfriend knew about this already and we shared similar lifestyles up until he started taking his faith more seriously. I am 100% supportive of his journey. He is baptized, and he mentioned that I need to get baptized too because he wants me to pursue Catholic faith with him. I explained that it would be a bit difficult since I’m not baptized, but he responded that I need to get baptized because it’s just as important as agreeing on finances. I told him I would think about it, and he said “You need to get baptized.”

I’ve already communicated that I’m open to the idea, but I do not like his language. AIO?
