Filter recommendations for a 29 gal tank?

I have a 29 gallon tank that's been sitting unused for a few years, and I am wanting to get it up and running soon as a planted freshwater community tank. I am new to the hobby and started last December with a 3 gallon tank, to put my foot in the door. I no longer have the original filter that came with the 29 gal and need to get one. I am leaning towards a hang on back filter. Would anyone have any recommendations for brands, models, etc? I'm looking for quality, convenience, and low or adjustable flow due to the fact that I'll have plants. Thanks
