The web version of Duolingo is great for free users

I started using the web version of Duolingo on my phone, and it’s actually better than the app. First, for free users, it still has the heart system, and you can refill hearts by practicing instead of watching ads - unlike the energy system in the app. It’s also faster because there are fewer and faster animations after each lesson, and there are no ads at all.

The only downside is that Legendary lessons are locked, but you can always complete them in the app by watching one or two ads to get energy. Overall, the free web version is very usable, which is exciting - because even if I don’t pay for a month, I can still practice with little to no inconvenience.
