How concerning is it to grow vegetables mere feet away from a residential parking lot of 25+ years with long term vehicle leakage?
There are now, and have been for the three years we've lived here, cars leaking fluids on the property. The lot is also slightly angled, so all the water pools in the opposite corner as the garden bed, but on the same side of the parking lot.
Are there any vegetables that are better able to avoid uptaking contaminants? I'm a bit worried about it, but saw that fruit producing vegetables are better for this scenario than root vegetables or leafy greens.
