Advanced Open Water Question-Ecuador

I received my open water certificate with SSI in SE Asia this summer. I’m going to Ecuador next week and I want to get my advanced open water. The issue is that all the dive shops in the area I’m around are all PADI certified. Can I still get my advanced cert with PADI even if my open water is with SSI? I really don’t want to have to pay to start the whole process over again.
