2013 Kia Soul, is my starter going or is it something else?

Today I went to turn the car over, it delayed/started but was stuck at 0 RPM and sounding weird, but still drove. I didnt even think about it at first, then I fully noticed after it happened But it also started normally a few times after. What could be the issue?
