Hi everyone,

Today is my first day in Casablanca. I came here for a 6-month internship and I’m currently staying in Sidi Bernoussi Hay Azhar. To be honest, I’m feeling a bit lost and my mood is not very good. It’s the first time in my life that I leave my home and my parents, so everything feels new and a little overwhelming.

I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to adapt quickly to the city and feel better mentally during the first days. If you’ve experienced something similar when moving to a new city, I’d really appreciate hearing how you handled it.

Also, if you know any good places in or near Sidi Bernoussi where I can study or work quietly (cafés, coworking spaces, libraries, etc.), please let me know. It would really help me create a small routine outside my apartment.

Thanks a lot in advance for any tips or recommendations. 🙂
