Gift recommendation - budget below

FIL loves scotch. His go to is the Glenlivet and Macallan 12. The Glenlivet I last saw him drinking was a Caribbean reserve although I am not sure if the Caribbean was a one time thing, or if this is his go to… all I know is Glenlivet is the brand I see him drink the most of.

Birthday is coming up and I want to get him a nice bottle… max price around $200-$300. Or I could do 2 different bottles - both for in the $100-$150 range.

I don’t drink, so I am out of my depth here. Any ideas?
