what even is consistency?

so i’ve heard people say as long as you post consistently, you should see an upward trend. i used to post weekly but tbh it was getting too much, considering this is my hobby and im doing full time school so i decided to post biweekly so there’s still some consistency but it seems like this change has reversed all the growth i saw when i was doing weekly uploads. i truly don’t understand what’s going on and its so frustrating to put in so much work and have essentially no views 😢

this is just a rant cause i know that this is just for fun but i wish my hard work showed some sort of results ya know
