My startup story as korean uni international student

I came to 🇰🇷S.Korea 2023 end of February, I was happy as every freshmen. Just students happy to start uni and new step to big life. However, happiness always lasts not long enough in this cursed world 🧸

So, first semester finished and summer holiday where it all started the big step to real world where you don’t know language and culture, as anyone would do, tried to contact seniors from my country to get a hand on a real job to make some liquid 🤑

Then I worked in a different jobs. Making cash, doing uni so so. But smth inside me was not full, like I was empty.

Just living my life with a lot of questions which had no answers, also till 2024 feb, somehow lost 30kgs. Fat guy became skinny in a year of Korean experience. In that order I studied 2 years, then I got introduced to S. He was doing his startup but he was having a hard time on technical side as he was a Business Masters student.

BTW, my major was AI & Big data

Then we decided to do smth on mid april 2025, then it was just idea. We got 2 more devs in the team. This devs story is whole one. But I will go with project, and we decided to make a community app which consists of guides, communities, events, experts, marketplace in korea for international English speaking people. So we came up with koreaeasy.org
