Just wasted 75% of pro weekly limit on 1 message

Is there any way to prevent Claude from just spiraling and making bad edits over and over wasting compute?

I asked for a feature to be added, admittedly a somewhat complex one, and Claude used up 75% of my weekly limit on one update which didn’t even work.

I guess you can’t just ask for stuff and walk away because you gotta be ready to kill the process when it pulls this crap?

I feel very ripped off right now.
