i wish india marketed the mahabharata and ramayana better on the global scale.

set aside the religious perspective for a while and hear me out. in india, we're used to reading greek plays, or epics and legends about different gods and cultures, especially in our curriculum.

but abroad, very rarely do people read indian epics. i mean, even if you're not religious, indian epics are some of the best written stories ever. the teachings of morality, the lore, the storyline, the characters, they're all so so so engaging.

i wish the government did a better job of helping spread this element of indian culture in abother countries. i guarantee you, if people actually sat down and read about it, they'd fall in love.
