Neuvilette buff ideas

Discussion

I know fontaine isnt next in line for buffs but I just wanted to share what I would like to see him get buffed. After using him extensively since release.

  1. Charged attack (main dmg source): If only 1 target is hit by the ability, the damage becomes 140% of the original. He needs alot of help to catch up to the meta and his biggest flaw is simply his target dummy st DPS. +40% isn't going to make him be top 3 but it will make him feel 'less punished' for not used in AOE fights.

  2. Make water sources spawn from skill/ult regardless of enemies being hit or not. this makes him a lil more consistent and less punished without breaking the balance of the game at all. yes his skill still must hit targets to generate particles, like every other units in the game.

  3. Less reliant on furina: I think furina's buffs and double hydro team buff (25% HP) is very fair and balanced, but the reason why he can't really replace furina easily is the hydro particles she help generate as well. and he REALLY wants his ult to be up. one simple solution is to have him gain as much energy from different elemental particles as he would from hydro ones. Since he is so encouraged to play with different elements, it's only fair he is more receptive of their energy particles as a bonus!

  4. His c2 is underwhelming comparatively: how little c2 matters is comparable to older units than him. Since fontaine and even more so natlan c1 and c2 are big boosts to their DPS. Luckily his c3 is amazing, since fontaine they started the trend of handing out normal attack talents as part of the the c3/c5 +3 lvs and I feel like they should also go back and update the older units that rely on normal talents too. (hutao, ganyu etc)

Even after these buffs, he's not going to be the top dog or anything, but he doesn't need to be. He is an older unit that I simply want to feel less punished to use in different scenarios. I want a well rounded and comfortable pick that most people would agree is already his strength.
