Rent a studio or rent a room?

Should i rent a room (700€) close to where i work, pay significantly less and save money on fuel but its a tiny room with shared bathroom OR should i rent a really nice modern studio (1100€) that is private with my own bedroom, kitchen and living area but i would have to commute 30 mins to work?

Im really indecisive and i want others opinion so that i feel safer with my final option
