How To Negotiate?

How can I negotiate the price of a used car? Looking at a 2023 RR Velar HST w/ 40k miles priced at 43k. I have a trade in 2024 Limited Crosstrek speced out at 30k miles worth 23k. CARFAX says this is a great deal but was wondering if I can knock anything more down? There’s curb rash on all wheels, but dealer says they can repair for free. A lot of scratches on paint in general. Thanks all! Let me know
