Van Heidt Theory my continuation (SPOILERS)

i saw someone say that Van Heidt could have had something to do with everybodys deaths at the school so I thought id share what he could have done that influenced them

Martin and Janet : We know that Martin turned off the sprinklers and opened the gas line to get revenge but he quickly snapped out of it and reset them. The reason him and Janet died was because she was testing flint torches and ignited the air. It would be really interesting if Van Heidt had watched Martin turn off the lines and possessed one of the students moments later so that him and Janet would walk into the chem lab. It’s a long shot but possible

Rhonda - someone mentioned that Manfredos sudden switch up could be because VH possesed him to kill Rhonda, and then quickly kept out, shoved Manfredo back in and then dipped, leaving an innocent man to die in prison.

Dawn - I really think hers was a freak accident because there wasn’t any way to know that her series of events would lead to her death

Yuri - the greenhouse door was locked, someone mentioned that VH could have locked him in when he realized the circumstances

Wally - Wally’s death was labeled as a misplaced tackle which caused him to break his neck. This is also more along the freak accident line but VH could have possessed a player to hit him in a specific way. Maybe he was doing this throughout different games to try and kill one of them

Bus Kids - lowkey that was just caused by Martin. Bur Ralphies whole thing insinuates that something bad was going to happen anyway. Maybe the bus driver or one of the kids was possessed and would have tried to swerve the bus anyway.

Mina - She was squished by a loose stage light, VH could have loosened it.

Elliot - auto shop accidents can be caused by a lot of different things if proper precautions aren’t met. It could have come off as a freak accident while really being caused by VH loosening jacks or bolts and causing something to fall onto him

Sara and Fern - we have no idea how they died let’s be honest

I feel like none of these were specifically targeting who died, but really just taking advantage of the circumstances to ensure that someone DID die no matter who.

All we know about VH is that he is greedy and power hungry, but also very smart. He was there when the pastor was sucked into he church scar and may have the thought of, “well if he can come into the ghost world while alive, maybe I can leave this world alive too…”

This is all a huge long shot and not particularly what I believe but it’s a really fun theory to think about!
