What she says she means by this is that he “simply doesn’t have to do anything.” She says he’s a “very kind, very nice, very gentle, very mannerable, very respectful.” She then goes on to say that “the like in the way he is being upheld is kind of unearned like as good people, we should all be kind, polite, nice, gentle, but that doesn’t make you a likable person.”

They then discuss in this podcast that although he did play a good game, he “benefited from the unearned likability” because he is “nice and mannerable and the way he looks.”

I have issues with this. First off, how is the likability unearned just because he’s nice and mannerable? Like aren’t they just describing why you like someone? lol and secondly, I disagree that he “simply doesn’t have to do anything” to get people to like him when he was HATED by the viewers and half the villa during his Love Island season. Clearly, his looks weren’t enough to get people to like him then. I don’t understand why people think that “attractive = easy mode” for you when we have hundreds of examples of super attractive contestants, not just on The Traitors, but on Big Brother, Survivor etc. who did horribly on their seasons. I genuinely think the only time looks can benefit you in these competition shows is if you have a strong social game. But imo that’s literally part of the game and a valid strategy? Hell if I looked like Rob, I’d also flaunt myself and flirt to win 200k lol

also another thing that’s odd to me is how Tiffany keeps reiterating that she didn’t find Rob attractive. She says it so much in these interviews almost like shes trying really hard to let people know that she didn’t get “got” by Rob or that she didn’t “fall under his spell.” She later says in the podcast that she’s glad she went out early because it didn’t taint her reputation. Then it started to dawn on me that Tiffany may be a little sour at the fact that Rob managed to outgame the “gamers.” She left Big Brother with a “mastermind” reputation and to let a Love Island boy outgame her must have hurt her ego.
