You dont need a running start , just combine these inputs and you have a fast Attack that solves a big issue.

I agree, that heavy weapons put the game on hard difficulty and don't come to fruition until later. In terms of pure melee builds, dex offers way less risk with superior damage and status build.

Knowing this option exists is a game changer. Im running a Festieng Earth with frost infusion and the poke range is unreal. Way more manageable in all fights. You still have to git gud at parry but I dont read enough ppl talking about this.
