Problem with turning off AI overview...

So, I use the duckduckgo browser on my phone, android, and I specifically use the no ai version of duckduckgo... however, it never seems to save my options of always keeping the AI overview shut off, and every other search, even when using the "strict" no ai version, it turns the overview back on... has anybody else had this happen, and does anybody know how to actually keep the AI overview shut off indefinitely?
