One pattern I keep noticing with fake crypto platforms
I’ve been reading a lot of posts here lately from people who got pulled into fake crypto trading platforms, and one pattern keeps showing up again and again.
Most of these sites look very convincing at first. They have professional dashboards, charts that look like real trading activity, and even customer support that responds quickly, but after looking into several of these cases, a few common red flags usually appear:
• The platform domain was created recently• Profits appear almost immediately after depositing• Withdrawals suddenly require “tax”, “verification”, or “release” fees• The opportunity usually comes through someone met on social media or a messaging app
What surprised me is how many of these platforms follow almost the exact same structure, which makes them easier to identify once you start looking for those patterns. But still a lot of people on here still fall for these scams, it really baffles me how that keep occurring.
I’ve started checking scam reports and platform histories before interacting with any trading site, and it’s honestly shocking how many of them already have warnings attached to them. So always try to research before engaging with any platform.
Curious if anyone else here has noticed similar patterns when researching suspicious crypto platforms. I’m sure there are other red flags that I haven’t noticed yet.
