He hasn't text me after the first date (kinda)

Hey guys. I've never really made a post on here but I could really just use an unbiased viewpoint. For context I am 23M and I had a date with a 28M.

The first date went really well, and the texting was pretty consistent up to that point! We had good conversation and it just overall went really well. We had even discussed a second date but never actually set a date for it. But the day after there were still texts, they were just kinda spotty, with usually a few hours in between texts. But I expected this because he told me his family was coming into town, so of course I wouldn't expect texting me to be his first priority (or a priority at all give how new this is). But then today (2 days after the date) I have not heard anything. I don't like to double text but I sent a friendly "good morning" text and left it at that.

I understand that I'm probably just being anxious over nothing, but it's pretty rare for me that I even get to this point so I'm trying not to mess it up lol.

Any advice on the situation or on how to not focus so much/obsess over it would be very helpful! Thanks :)
