Stem Size difference

Hello!

I am really new to this subject.

Last week i let my self measure in a store and they told me a CUBE Nuroad One size L will be the perfect fit with the standard components.

But now I want to buy a CUBE Nuroad EXC and someone told me that i need to check the Stem size at it is bigger. Only issue is, that the stores don't have the bike in stock and I need to order it online. Can I go with the same size as a Nuroad One size L?
