North east regional help

I just transferred to regional driving still less than a year under me I started out local. Any tips for finding parking up here I start as early as I can and still the lots are full by 230. Is it normal for lots to be fuller on Sundays because resets or was my thinking of look for a spot before 430 misguided. My original thought process was to drive as close to my drop as I can and find a spot that way I keep moving or am I thinking about this wrong. Coming from local we had to keep moving it was rare I sat at all.

I dont wanna pay for parking all the time.
